We’re delighted to have partnered with Johnstons of Elgin on the launch of their new Magento 2 site.
With a rich history dating back to 1797, Johnstons of Elgin has produced the finest woven products from the finest of fibres and is one of the worlds most renowned cashmere houses. The brand is still family-run to this day and continues to be influenced by tradition while pushing the boundaries of textile and knitwear manufacturing.
Working in close partnership with Johnstons of Elgin, we helped them seamlessly migrate from Magento 1 to Magento 2, in time for Magento 1’s end-of-life.
Migration also presented the perfect opportunity to update the look of the site, making it look as modern and effortless as their fashion, while still paying tribute to their heritage. The new site is content-rich, blending content on new collections, their Scottish beginnings and shoppable blocks.
